Abstract

The Editor-in-Chief, in agreement with the journal’s Editorial Board, retracts this article [1] because the study described in this article was undertaken without appropriate patient consent. The journal was notified of this by The Japanese Society of Anesthesiologists (JSA) Special Investigation Committee [2]. Y. Nakata agrees with this retraction. Y. Saitoh and T.
