Abstract

Prenatal MRI was performed in 2 fetus with agenesis of corpus callosum. While T1-weighted image did not have enough visualization in the diagnosis of callosal agenesis, T2-weighted image with HASTE (half Fourier single-shot turbo spin echo) sequence clearly demonstrated associated colpocephaly and elevated 3rd ventricle as well as callosal agenesis. Future improvements in MR technology will lead more precise prenatal diagnosis of this congenital pathology.
