山梨県富士河口湖町におけるグランピング施設の供給特性

This study examines the supply characteristics of glamping accommodation located in Fujikawaguchiko Town in Yamanashi Prefecture. Data on glamping accommodation was obtained using business license applications for lodging facilities administered by Yamanashi Prefecture. This study reveals that glamping facilities in Fujikawaguchiko Town are dispersed across unused land throughout the town and were primarily supplied since 2020 by tourism and construction-related companies with capital from within Yamanashi Prefecture and Tokyo. A characteristic feature of Fujikawaguchiko Town is that glamping accommodation are also located in residential areas offering excellent views of Mount Fuji or superior transportation convenience for tourists. The establishment of glamping accommodation within the town reflects the glamping boom in Japan since the late 2010s and tourism demand during the COVID-19 pandemic period.
